We offer eco friendly tours in Ratanakiri into the national park and attractions around Ratanakiri. Besides the tours, we also operate the Tribal Village Homestay in Banlung, where we can offer you accommodation during your stay.
Follow Kachoch hill tribe ranger for a hike that will take you in to Kaoh Piek forest which the southern of Virakchey National Park. Starting on the dirt roads to Vun Sai, the banks of the Sesan and O’Lalai rivers, visit small settlements, stay overnight in the jungle, and submerge in a beautiful forest. This trek does not only focus on nature, but also engage with indigenous communities, learn about local farming and lifestyle.
This Cambodia adventure is simply an amazing experience for all wildlife lovers. You will get to see the incredibly rare Northern Yellow-Cheeked Gibbons in their natural habitat in the Ratanakiri province of Northeast Cambodia. In partnership with ‘Conservation International’ and the local communities have put together an exclusive one night gibbon spotting trek, the first of its kind in Cambodia.
It is an area rich in natural beauty and is home to several ethnic hill tribes and minority groups. Tourists can visit communities and experience first-,hand the evening day life, traditions, customs and rituals of indigenous people.

Tribal Village Homestay
Tribal Village Home Stay (in Banlung city, Ratanakiri province) – A truly genuine set of ten beautiful traditional village homes. These were built by the tribal people of Tompoun. The property is surrounded by mango, avocado and jack fruit trees and the food will have come from the local area.

How to LOVE Ratanakiri !
To choose a particular part of our time together is really difficult, we did so many great things. Mr Smey is exactly the kind of man you want by your side to discover the Ratanakiri wonders. He led me to stunning places, only the locals would know. He made me meet wonderfull people and gave me the opportunity to speak with them being our translator. A jewel of Ratanakiri
Mr Smey is the real jewel of Ratanakiri (which means mountain of gems). He took me to a waterfall, to swim in a crater lake and to the jungle. Marvelous with visit and swim in waterfall. We were so well, in the wilde nature. It was a dream😊
☺ The owner is very friendly. He was too our guide to visit the different water falls, the lake and also a a mine of Gem stones in Ratanakiri. Breakfast are good and simple. ☺ Far the best stay in Cambodia I have ever had! Smey and his wife will take care of you like about family member. Smey can speak english very well. He can organise trip for you with his Smiling tours company. He is something like guru guide in Ratanakiri. Besides that he teaches children from the village for free. You can also join as a volunteer. And his homestay is such a place in paradise. Very clean and comfortable bungallows with attached toilets. I enjoyed green garden as well and appreciated silence here. The breakfast with fresh baguette, homemade coffee, delicious lunch and dinner…Smey’s wife is really perfect cook. Smey arranged bus ticket for me and took me to the stand, rented motorbike for reasonable price and many others. I enjoyed the stay here and hope that I will come back soon. Thank you for everything.

Cute tribal huts at affordable price for a pleasant stay in Banlung.
☺ Quiet location. The traditional huts are very nice. The grounds include many beautiful flowers and plants. They offer inexpensive breakfast and also serve cocktails and beer which was a good nightcap.☹ It is located quite a distance from the center of town so a car or moto is needed to get to anything.

A jewel in Ratanakiri — look no further and you won’t be disappointed
☺ Mr Smey is fantastic. Book your stay here and you won’t be disappointed. The bungalows are hand made — Mr Smey made them himself with bamboo. We also had a great time making small excursions around the area: to a nearby waterfall, cycling together through the city and even to Ratanakiri’s old airport, riding on the empty runway, now used by locals for exercise, and then swimming in a crater lake surrounded by jungle. Mr Smey is always smiling, always happy and ready to help. Just being around him is instructive — you can learn from him not only about Ratanakiri but also about life. I couldn’t have asked for a more inspiring visit. Highly recommend.☹ Nothing to report.

☺ Mister Smey is a good listener and look after his guests. He ensure that we get everything we need. Also he knows the best spot in Rattanakiri. I really enjoyed the trekking for one day. He will share with you his passion and the causes he is fighting for. You can also rent at his place motorbike and mountain bicycle to explore around. Food is good prepared by his lovely wife. You can also buy directly from his garden some avocado which I did:) I highly recommend this place !
